This lens is primarily designed to support the <strong>Fujifilm GFX medium format<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>In its presentation, the Irix Dragonfly 45mm F1.4 GFX enters the market with the intention of being the fastest lens for medium format. Irix has opted for this wide-angle lens to nod to that <strong>traditional photography<\/strong> that used to exist with medium format cameras. It features a <strong>G-type mount<\/strong>, which, when used with this type of sensor, results in very shallow depths of field, but great smoothness in focus transition and a wide dynamic range.  <\/p>\n<p>It has a high-quality construction as a result of the extensive experience that Irix has gained with the manufacturing of full-frame lenses. In this case, it consists of <strong>11 elements arranged in 9 groups<\/strong>. With this level of manufacturing, speed and exceptional light transmission are guaranteed. This allows for working in low light conditions.   <\/p>\n<p>It features a <strong>nine-blade rounded diaphragm<\/strong> that aids in smooth blurring and <strong>circular bokeh<\/strong>. It has an <strong>aperture ring and focus ring<\/strong>, the latter with a special non-slip design with relief for better grip. Above this, we find a <strong>focus lock button<\/strong> to fix the focus on a specific object.  <\/p>\n<p>A lens with a <strong>sealed and consistent design<\/strong>. They have placed 5 seals throughout the entire lens so that it can be used under any circumstance and protect it from water and dust. <\/p>\n<p>The lens is manufactured in metal, although it is a lightweight lens with internal reinforcement.
