The great advantage of this type of camera is its <strong>extremely compact size<\/strong> for <strong>4K cameras with interchangeable Micro Four Thirds lenses<\/strong>. In fact, it is currently the smallest in the world for this type of camera.  <\/p>\n<p>The fact that now one of the most versatile Micro Four Thirds cameras allows ProRes HQ recording opens up a new world of possibilities and increases <strong>workflow<\/strong> options for each production. This update is valid for <strong>all Z CAM E2 camera models<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>It not only allows ProRes HQ recording in all available camera resolutions (except 8K 2.4:1), but also allows us to record separate <strong>ProRes proxy files<\/strong> for lighter and faster workflows, for dailies, etc&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>While these are the main new features of the firmware update, <strong>version 0.98.0<\/strong> has also served to <strong>fix some bugs<\/strong> and add improvements to the cameras&#8217; performance, fixing the issue with clip preview on camera when applying a 3D LUT. Improvements have also been made for <strong>external SSD recording<\/strong>, making USB performance more productive. <\/p>\n<p>In addition to ProRes HQ recording, a new recording resolution of <strong>5K<\/strong> has been added with a frame rate of up to <strong>60 fps<\/strong>.
