A<strong> wide-angle lens<\/strong> that joins the catalog of cinema lenses consisting of an <strong>11mm<\/strong> wide-angle lens <strong>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.709mediaroom.com\/irix-anuncia-su-nueva-lente-de-enfoque-manual-irix-45mm-f1-4\/\">45mm<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.709mediaroom.com\/una-nueva-linea-de-lentes-irix-para-8k\/\">150mm<\/a><\/strong> as a macro telephoto lens.<\/p>\n<p>The wide angle lens is intended for <strong>cine<\/strong> and therefore for <strong>full frame<\/strong> cameras with the great advantage of being a <strong>cheaper and faster<\/strong> option. The lens is designed with <strong>15 optical elements in 11 groups<\/strong>, including <strong>3 HR<\/strong> (High Infrared), <strong>2 low dispersion and 2 ASP<\/strong> <strong>lenses<\/strong>. As in their other models they have also managed to reduce chromatic aberration to the maximum ensuring true and vivid colors.  <\/p>\n<p>Despite being a wide-angle lens and running the risk of distorting the image, the Irix 15mm T2.6 <strong>keeps distortion<\/strong> and lens <strong>breathing<\/strong> <strong>to a minimum<\/strong> when focusing. The image is also sharp thanks to the <strong>9 rounded blades<\/strong> that make up the diaphragm and its ability to <strong>eliminate diffraction<\/strong> regardless of the aperture used. <\/p>\n<p>The <strong>maximum resolution<\/strong> at which it allows us to shoot, <strong>UltraHD 8K<\/strong>, is very important, being able to get super panoramic images in <strong>CinemaScope<\/strong>. It comes with different <strong>mount<\/strong> options <strong>for Canon EF, Sony E, MFT and PL<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>The lens design is intended to be a <strong>lightweight yet compact<\/strong>, sealed and simple lens. It shares the ring design between the other optics to make changing accessories and focusing systems fit between optics and make the workflow faster and easier. <\/p>\n<p>The same goes for the <strong>weight<\/strong>. It is very similar to the other optics to make it easier to change lenses even when mounted on stabilization systems.
