For a lens intended for cinema it is a <strong>small and compact lens<\/strong> with <strong>174mm in length<\/strong> from its widest angle distance to its maximum telephoto.  <\/p>\n<p>Like their other zoom models, Tokina&#8217;s lenses maintain the same <strong>mechanical characteristics<\/strong> in their designs. They are <strong>parafocal lenses<\/strong>, which allows them to <strong>maintain focus as we zoom<\/strong>. It also <strong>reduces<\/strong> focal <strong>breathing<\/strong> when zooming and focusing and <strong>limits distortion<\/strong> in the image.  <\/p>\n<p>The structure and composition of the lens consists of <strong>18 optical elements in 15 groups<\/strong>, <strong>0.8 MOD cine gears<\/strong>, the <strong>filter<\/strong> size <strong>is 86mm<\/strong> and at the front it has a <strong>diameter of 95mm<\/strong> for users to add standard size <strong>cine complements<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The new Tokina is a zoom lens intended for <strong>36mm diameter Super 35 sensor film cameras<\/strong>. This means that the new Tokina 25-75mm can be attached to cameras such as RED Helium, Dragon and Monstro 6K, Arri Alexa, mirrorless DSLRs such as Canon and Blackmagic or Panasonic. This does not detract from the fact that it can also be mounted on <strong>PL or EF mounts<\/strong> with the <strong>Tokina Cinema 1.6x<\/strong>.
