Sky Q is a <strong>box<\/strong> where you can access all <strong>content from different platforms<\/strong> in from a <strong>single device<\/strong>. What was expected for the end of the year has been brought forward and already supports <strong>HDR content<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n<p>For <strong>HDR<\/strong> broadcasting <strong>Sky<\/strong> has opted for the <strong>HLG curve, Hybrid Log Gamma,<\/strong> leaving aside the more standardized HDR10 or Dolby Vision. The fact of opting for this curve entails some limitations for users, since not all <strong>televisions have compatibility<\/strong> with this curve, although more and more brands are including it in their televisions. <\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, users with a <strong>Sky Q box<\/strong> will have to see if their model <strong>supports HDR broadcasting<\/strong>, as not all models do, especially the older ones. A quick way to see if the box supports HDR content is to look at the <strong>hardware version<\/strong> and if it starts with 32B2xx or 32B1xx they are usually compatible. <\/p>\n<p>At the moment Sky has added some <strong>content available in HDR<\/strong> and is expected to gradually <strong>include more<\/strong> in the coming months, including <strong>Netflix or Disney +<\/strong> and movies for <strong>Sky Cinema, <\/strong>without forgetting the future <strong>Olympic Games<\/strong>. What is already available since a few days ago is the recently launched <strong>Sky Nature channel<\/strong> with nature programming that includes 3 different programs and another nature special Pridelands: Wilderness Reborn. As for <strong>fiction series<\/strong>, its catalog includes the series Gangs of Lemur Island and <em>Malawi: Wildlife Rescue. <\/em>  <\/p>\n<p>We are increasingly seeing how HDR is being implemented in recording, post-production and broadcasting systems.
