With this new product, Foundry is bringing the ability to create <strong>high-quality visual effects<\/strong> to a wider audience by launching it at a <strong>more affordable price of \u20ac449 per year.<\/strong> <\/p>\n<p>Nuke Indie is part of the latest <strong>Nuke 12.2<\/strong> release, with the possibility to purchase it for an <strong>annual subscription<\/strong>. Based on the Nuke Studio version, it improves some of the aspects of the tool such as<strong> data<\/strong> and workflow for <strong>review in Nuke Studio and Hiero<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>From Foundry they assure that with nuke Indie you can get the same experience as with Nuke, having only some <strong>limitations<\/strong> such as the use of <strong>Python script to a maximum of 10<\/strong> or the <strong>ingest and conforming<\/strong> of <strong>H264 and AAC<\/strong> files for audio. It allows you to create compositing nodes including<strong> keyers<\/strong>, <strong>3D camera<\/strong> tracking, <strong>360\u00ba video<\/strong> editing and compositing, etc&#8230; You can also <strong>export<\/strong> projects in <strong>4K<\/strong> resolution, as do the leading companies in the industry. <\/p>\n<p>In order to subscribe to the Nuke Indie license, some <strong>restrictions<\/strong> must be taken into account, specified by the company such as <strong>not<\/strong> having an <strong>annual gross income of more than $100,000<\/strong>, using the license for <strong>personal use<\/strong> and not for a company and provided that <strong>it is not used in conjunction with other commercial licenses<\/strong>, among others.<\/p>\n<p>The Nuke 12.2 update includes support for <strong>ingesting in USD<\/strong> thanks to the <strong>RealGeo node<\/strong>, which allows geometry reading in USD data.
