With the new transmission encoder we can achieve much more <strong>efficient<\/strong> transmissions thanks to the <strong>compression<\/strong> they perform on the signal coming from a JVC camera. <\/p>\n<p>For this purpose, they have used the <strong>HEVC standard<\/strong>, which is much more efficient than H264. In this way, the <strong>transmission speed is much higher<\/strong> as well as the <strong>quality of the images<\/strong>, using a <strong>smaller bandwidth<\/strong>. Not only do we gain in speed, we also increase the bits of the image, leaving behind the 8 bits and being able to use the <strong>10 bits at a sampling of 422<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n<p>At the moment the new KA-EN200G encoder will be available for 2 JVC camcorders, the <strong>GY-HC500 \/ 550 and GY-HC900<\/strong>. The system is very simple, just<strong>insert the encoder into the<\/strong> camcorder<strong>slot<\/strong>, and from there start working. <\/p>\n<p>The signal that allows us to transmit the JVC KA-EN200G encoder is a <strong>signal in HD<\/strong> and with <strong>video gamma standard 709, HLG or J-Log<\/strong>. The fact that it incorporates <strong>HDR<\/strong> encoding is also an added value for these cameras, as it is a demand that more and more productions are asking for. <\/p>\n<p>JVC develops the encoder thinking about the live transmission of the <strong>broadcast and streaming<\/strong> world, to achieve a simpler and more efficient workflow without sacrificing quality. Therefore they are committed to the new HEVC standard and implement the <strong>latest technologies<\/strong> with smarter solutions. <\/p>\n<p>The design of the encoder has been designed to work in normal working conditions, withstanding<strong> temperatures<\/strong> between <strong>0 and 40\u00ba<\/strong>. The connection port used is a <strong>USB type C<\/strong> port. <\/p>\n<p>As for the <strong>transmission protocols<\/strong> supported by the KA-EN200G encoder we have <strong>UDP, Zixi and SRT<\/strong>.
