This is a huge advantage for audio professionals, since with the new Pro Tools there will be no need to transcode high-resolution,<strong> high frame rate<\/strong> files. <\/p>\n<p>It is put on the same working level as the Avid <strong>Media Composer<\/strong> video editor to streamline the workflow between video and audio editors. Not only is the workflow improved, but the accuracy with which Pro Tools users will now work is improved, as the timeline will be able to play back the <strong>appropriate frame rate<\/strong> and they will be able to work with the <strong>same files<\/strong> accepted by Media Composer. <\/p>\n<p>With <strong>HDR<\/strong> increasingly present in audiovisual productions and in the requirements of online video platforms such as Netflix, Pro Tools has also improved workflows with <strong>Dolby Atmos<\/strong> audio. Pro Tools 2019 will be able to send up to <strong>130 CoreAudio channels<\/strong> to the <strong>Dolby Atmos Renderer<\/strong> software. This simplifies the delivery of <strong>multiple audio mixes<\/strong> through a single file as well as <strong>Dolby Atmos &#8220;In the box&#8221;<\/strong> mixing and playback by running both (Dolby Atmos Renderer and Pro Tools) on the same system.  <\/p>\n<p>The fact that Pro Tools is part of the <strong>Netflix Post Technology Alliance<\/strong> (PTA) makes us understand some of the main new features presented, as it is now possible to deliver in a <strong>single WAV file<\/strong> <strong>different mixes<\/strong> so that it is easier to have them localized.
