The new Data Wangler and DIT classroom course<\/strong> is getting closer and we have some news to tell you. Remember that the course will take place on December 14 and 15<\/strong> and there are very few places left, so you are still in time to reserve your place<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p>\n

The classroom course will last 16 hours<\/strong> and will be taught by Rafa Roche<\/strong>, an expert in digital cinema<\/strong> and pioneer in HD<\/strong> with extensive experience as DIT, Data Wangler and Director of Photography<\/strong>. The classroom courses that we organize are mostly practical<\/strong> for students to put into practice the concepts learned and resolve any doubts as the exercises are performed. <\/p>\n

As we promised you in the previous post<\/a>, here is a preview of some of the equipment we will be working with during this course. We will have a complete DIT station<\/strong> provided by Drago<\/strong><\/a>. The station is equipped with Livegrade Pro<\/strong> color correction software, so students can practice what would be a real situation color grading material coming from the camera from the DIT station. <\/p>\n

Falco films<\/strong><\/a>will provide the camera equipment<\/strong> with two of today’s greats, the Arri Amira<\/strong> and the Canon C700<\/strong>. Arri, currently one of the brands most trusted by the directors of photography and with which you will surely find yourself in real shootings once the course is over. A good opportunity to learn the main aspects of this camera, the management of the material shot and its processing. The Arri Amira is capable of recording 4K<\/strong> images in Rec709 or Log-C and<\/strong> in Apple ProRes 4444<\/strong> format. <\/p>\n

The Canon C700<\/strong> also features internal 4K recording<\/strong> and different recording formats, in RAW or ProRes<\/strong>, and unlike the Arri Amira, it has 15 stops<\/strong> of dynamic range, one more than the Arri. Two different cameras perfect to see the different workflows<\/strong> that can arise during a shoot. <\/p>\n

We have worked with Falco Films<\/strong> for several editions of this course to have the best equipment and now we also want to thank Drago<\/strong> for their confidence in us for this new edition of the course by providing the complete DIT station. With the best audiovisual equipment and a great professional as Rafa Roche, we are looking forward to the date to start the course. <\/p>\n
