The presentation will take place at the BSC Expo in London later this month and we will be able to see the 24-inch and 18.4-inch models. <\/p>\n<p>The two monitors, the <strong>24&#8243; and 18.4&#8243;<\/strong> <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/pro.sony\/en_GB\/products\/broadcastpromonitors\/pvm-x2400\">PVM-X2400<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/pro.sony\/en_GB\/products\/broadcastpromonitors\/pvm-x1800\">PVM-X1800<\/a><\/strong> respectively, stand out for their <strong>color rendering<\/strong> and <strong>high<\/strong> image <strong>quality<\/strong>. In addition, they have a <strong>maximum brightness of 1000 candelas per m2.<\/strong> Sony, which is already a benchmark in high quality image reproduction, wants to give its users the option of two new monitors, which can be compared with what is today a leader, the Sony <strong>BVM-HX310<\/strong> also Trimaster.  <\/p>\n<p>Some time ago we talked about the discussion that was launched in the audiovisual world about the need to <strong>work HDR from shooting<\/strong>, well, it seems that brands increasingly tend to support this workflow, such as Sony. These are two monitors small enough to work with them in shooting and that <strong>filmmakers<\/strong> can be <strong>sure<\/strong> that what they are<strong> seeing is correct<\/strong>, especially if we talk about HDR workflows. <\/p>\n<p>HDR monitors are usually backlit, and in this case <strong>Sony<\/strong> has added a <strong>3-level Black Detail<\/strong> setting. In order to reproduce colors in the best conditions, <strong>Black Detail<\/strong> can be set <strong>to high, medium or low<\/strong> to reduce brightness or increase gradation in darker areas.
