They allow members of the production team (such as the DoP or Director) to get a look at the footage as soon as possible. It is common practice to upload these dailies to a web platform that makes them instantly available to all involved.  <\/p>\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/arriwebgate.com\/en\/posts\/25\">ARRI Webgate<\/a> &#8216;s cloud services are such platforms. For some time now, the dailies platform has supported ALE files in order to provide metadata along with the transcoded clips. Silverstack Lab integrates with this workflow and can generate an ALE file optimized for transferring metadata to ARRI Webgate.
