{"id":54634,"date":"2019-09-05T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-09-04T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/709mediaroom.com\/panasonic-introduces-the-new-lumix-s-dc-s1h\/"},"modified":"2025-05-03T21:22:21","modified_gmt":"2025-05-03T19:22:21","slug":"panasonic-introduces-the-new-lumix-s-dc-s1h","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/709mediaroom.com\/en\/panasonic-introduces-the-new-lumix-s-dc-s1h\/","title":{"rendered":"Panasonic introduces the new Lumix S DC-S1H"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Panasonic has launched its new mirrorless camera, the Lumix S DC-S1H <a href=\"https:\/\/www.panasonic.com\/es\/consumer\/camaras-y-videocamaras\/camaras-lumix-s\/dc-s1h.html\"><strong>Lumix S DC-S1H<\/strong><\/a> to bring DSLR cameras closer to a more cinematic level.<\/p>\n<p>The mirrorless Lumix S DC-S1H is capable of capturing full <strong>6K<\/strong> frames with <strong>10-bit 4:2:0<\/strong> color sampling <strong>at 24<\/strong> frames per second in 3:2, while in 16:9 it is capable of capturing 5.9K 4:2:0 10-bit images at 30, 25 or 24 frames per second. These two new formats are joined by Panasonic&#8217;s already known formats: the <strong>C4K Y 4K 4:2:0<\/strong> format at <strong>60 or 50<\/strong> frames per second, and the 4K format with 4:2:2:2 10-bit color sampling at 30, 25 and 24 fps. Panasonic joins the <strong>anamorphic<\/strong> world by adding this mode to the <strong>4K format<\/strong>.  <\/p>\n<p>Like other film cameras such as the Sony Venice, the Lumix S DC-S1H&#8217;s new sensor has a <strong>dual native sensor<\/strong>. The <strong>24.2-megapixel CMOS<\/strong> sensor coupled with Venus Engine technology allows us to increase the ISO level up to <strong>51200\/ISO<\/strong> without increasing noise in low exposure shots. <\/p>\n<p>If we want to record <strong>4K 4:2:2<\/strong> images <strong>at 10 bits<\/strong> it is possible to do it <strong>internally as<\/strong> long as it is in 4K format at 30, 25 or 24 frames per second. For 10-bit and 4:2:2:2 recordings the camera incorporates an <strong>HDMI output<\/strong> through which we can record through an <strong>external recorder<\/strong>. <\/p>\n<p>HDR technology is also contemplated in the new Panasonic model, as it incorporates <strong>V-Log<\/strong> technology with <strong>14 stops of dynamic range<\/strong> required by <strong>PQ<\/strong> standards in <strong>HDR<\/strong>. As for the color space, <strong>V-Gamut<\/strong> technology is responsible for covering the entire HDR spectrum and color space. <\/p>\n<p>Almost all DSLR cameras have limitations on continuous recording time, but Panasonic has managed to break this barrier, allowing <strong>unlimited video recording<\/strong> <strong>time<\/strong> thanks to the built-in fans capable of distributing heat.
