(Zaxcom says its NeverClip preamps extend the dynamic range on those inputs to 136 dB.) Four other analog connectors (on TA5 connectors) for line level can be used as returns. Deva 24 Field Recorder-Mixer also accepts 24 AES audio input channels, including 16 that support the AES42 standard, which accept unlocked AES signals with sample rates between 32 and 192 kHz and built-in sample rate conversion.   <\/p>\n<p>Analog audio can be routed through four balanced XLR and three balanced TA-5M jacks. Tape\/mono output is available on two unbalanced 3.5 mm jacks, and headphone output is available via 1\/4-inch and 3.5 mm connections. Additional connectors support timecode, external slate combination and redundant power.  <\/p>\n<p>The 12 knobs on the front of the unit can be used as attenuators, input adjustment knobs, or ZaxNet control knobs. Eight tracks can be used to mix all inputs, while 16 tracks are dedicated to ISO track routing. Zaxcom advises that any of the 16 analog or 24 digital inputs can be assigned to a pre or post fader ISO track. <\/p>\n<p>The company claims that for added flexibility, the Deva 24 can be connected to the <a href=\"https:\/\/zaxcom.com\/products\/mix-16\/\">Mix-16<\/a> or<a href=\"https:\/\/zaxcom.com\/products\/oasis\/\"> Oasis<\/a> control surface, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/es\/mac\/\">Mac<\/a> or PC, via a single USB cable. finally, the <a href=\"https:\/\/zaxcom.com\/products\/mix-16\/\">new Mix-16<\/a> has (obviously) 16 motorized faders in five banks, each with an LED input meter and input trim control, to control the Deva 24.
