Cinemartin<\/a>, the developer of the well-known Cinec<\/a> video encoding software, has now bet on TEO, a compact all-in-one device that enters the market as the first native QHD monitor.<\/p>\n

Features and functions<\/h4>\n

TEO is a QHD (2560 x 1440), AMOLED monitor featuring a 5.7″ touch screen, over 170 degrees viewing angle and 550 NIT.<\/p>\n

In addition to monitoring, it also allows streaming and recording of uncompressed RAW or 4K files in 4:4:4:4 at 10bit and, if not so much information is required, it is possible to select 4:2:2 or 4:2:0 at 8 or 10bit. As a background task, TEO is capable of transcoding these files to ProRes or H265, all in a device measuring just 14 x 10 x 5cm. <\/p>\n

To help visualize images, it supports 3D LUTs and comes with analysis tools such as vectorscope and waveform.<\/p>\n

Internal qualities and connections<\/h4>\n

The device itself is a computer, with a latest generation Intel Core Skylake processor, 16GB of DDR4 RAM (upgradeable up to 32GB) and an internal SSD disk ranging from 250GB to 2TB.<\/p>\n

Although it comes with Windows installed by default, it is possible to install Mac OS X easily.<\/p>\n

It features four USB 3.0 ports (1 of which can be used to charge other devices), WiFi, Bluetooth, NFC, GigaEthernet, HDMI input and output, and an SDXC R\/W card slot.\"TEO\"<\/a><\/p>\n
