With only two months to go before the release of version 12, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blackmagicdesign.com\/es\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Blackmagic Design<\/a> has already decided to release its first update, 12.1. <\/p>\n<p>Among the most outstanding features you will find remote rendering (in the Studio version) and 10-bit display on OS X El Capitan operating systems (at last!).<\/p>\n<p>In addition to 10-bit, support for native color profiles has been added to OS X. Of course, color functions, editing and support for some formats have been improved:<\/p>\n<h4>Editing and media management<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to select clips in blade mode.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to extend freeze frames from the start of editing.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to perform a negative CT offset on clip attributes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Auto-scroll during resizing of a timeline element.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Support of fades on generators and titles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Improved rendering of audio transitions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Possibility to manage the average of selected clips in a timeline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to filter clips based on whether they have keyframes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Improved sorting in media storage and media pool.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Support for intelligent bin filtering based on clip type.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to move clips and timelines from the intelligent bin display.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Support for moving files to the trash instead of permanently deleting them, via the media manager on Mac and Windows.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to delete multiple projects and folders in the project manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Color<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to decompose a compound node.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to correct nested timelines.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to make keyframes manually in the power window in frame mode even without tracking.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to freeze frame on an external matte.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>User option to copy flags and markers when performing ColorTrace.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Supports<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Improved support for XML subclips from FCP 7.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Improved ACEScc support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>SDL (stereo decision list) v0.25 support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Support for RED SDK v6.0.4.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Support for embedded timecode in the audio output.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/709mediaroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/resolve-control-surface.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-14667\" src=\"http:\/\/709mediaroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/resolve-control-surface.jpg\" alt=\"resolve-control-surface\" width=\"562\" height=\"163\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Blackmagic Design has also announced that it is working with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.genarts.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GenArts<\/a> to incorporate Sapphire Builder support, which is scheduled for release with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.genarts.com\/sapphire\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sapphire<\/a> 9.0.1.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Let&#8217;s start Tuesday by talking about the new DaVinci Resolve.
