Now, the company has joined the current trend of releasing many updates throughout the year instead of one major software overhaul. <\/p>\n<p>New additions include the <strong>Avid Image Sequencer<\/strong> plug-in, which allows you to work natively with DPX files, as well as the ability to work with stereoscopic clips in multi-camera mode. In this case, the metadata of the &#8220;dominant eye&#8221; will be displayed within the bin. <\/p>\n<p>Now, during playback you can mute or unmute individual clips by simply right-clicking on them. In the same way, entire tracks can be activated or deactivated. <\/p>\n<p>The timeline comes with several new features:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Tracks are now marked with &#8220;end of trim&#8221; indicators, to signal when they have reached their start or end points.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Trim rollers can be added or removed by clicking and Shift-clicking at the same time on a cut.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Any segment can be copied by Shift-Option and dragging.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Titles can be saved directly in the timeline as well as in the bins.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/709mediaroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/media-composer.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-10715\" alt=\"media-composer\" src=\"http:\/\/709mediaroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/media-composer.jpg\" width=\"353\" height=\"198\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Finally, added supports for the 64-bit AAX plugins used by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.avid.com\/es\/products\/family\/pro-tools\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ProTools<\/a>; for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arri.com\/camera\/amira\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amira<\/a> material, with automatic color transformations based on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.arri.de\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ARRI<\/a> metadata; and an updated AMA plugin for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.red.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Red<\/a> that supports the current Red SDK.<\/p>\n<p>On this page you can see all the features of Avid Media Composer.<\/p>\n<p>And with this we say goodbye until September, have a great vacation!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Avid has unveiled details of its latest version of Media Composer, with new timeline features to speed up the editing process and more media.
