The CES show in Las Vegas brings us two new 4K camcorders that join the line of cameras manufactured by JVC<\/a>.<\/p>\n

GY-LS300<\/h4>\n

Thanks to its Super 35mm CMOS sensor, the GY-LS300<\/a> marks the company’s official entry into the large-image camera market.<\/p>\n

Although its mount is Micro Four Thirds (MFT), it includes a technology called Variable Scan Mapping, which maintains the native angle of view when using other lenses. That is, the camera adapts the active sensor area to accommodate MFT, Super 16, Super 35 and other lenses mounted on the MFT mount with third-party adapters. <\/p>\n

We will be able to record in different resolutions and formats, including 4K, Ultra HD, Full HD with 4:2:2 sampling, SD or web formats, all on SDHC and SDXC memory cards.<\/p>\n

The LS300 camera will be available in March for a price of $4,450.<\/p>\n

\"JVC<\/a><\/p>\n

GY-HM200<\/h4>\n

This is JVC’s most affordable camcorder with streaming capabilities.<\/p>\n

It has a 2\/3-inch CMOS sensor and a built-in 12x zoom lens along with an optical stabilizer. In addition, when working in HD mode this lens can offer a dynamic zoom of up to 24x. <\/p>\n

Delivery formats include 4K Ultra HD, Full HD in 4:2:2 (50 Mbps) and SD.<\/p>\n

The HM200<\/a> camera will be available in February for a price of $2,995.<\/p>\n

Common characteristics<\/h4>\n

Both models feature a 3.5-inch LCD screen and a 1.56-megapixel viewfinder, plus two switchable mic\/line audio inputs, phantom power, integrated hot shoe handle and microphone mount.<\/p>\n

If you want to use the video outputs, you will find SDI and HDMI.<\/p>\n

They also include Wi-Fi and 4G LTE streaming technology, which enables live HD streaming using hardware set-top boxes, Ustream, Wowza, Streaming Engine or Zixi’s ProHD Broadcaster server.
