In this way it synthesizes unique and new frames by interpolating and warping the original sequence. <\/p>\n<p>The company claims that internal computation can be accelerated by up to 5x by working with the GPU instead of the CPU mode, although they also warn that this largely depends on the system configuration, the specific GPU, features used by Twixtor, PCIe bus bandwidth, the codec of the material, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Typically, accelerations of this level are accompanied by a high-end card, such as AMD <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amd.com\/us\/products\/workstation\/graphics\/ati-firepro-3d\/w7000\/Pages\/w7000.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">FirePro<\/a><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amd.com\/US\/PRODUCTS\/WORKSTATION\/GRAPHICS\/ATI-FIREPRO-3D\/W9000\/Pages\/w9000.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">W7000-9000<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amd.com\/es\/products\/desktop\/graphics\/7000\/7970\/Pages\/radeon-7970.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Radeon HD 7970<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amd.com\/es\/products\/desktop\/graphics\/7000\/7990\/Pages\/radeon-7990.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">7990<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nvidia.es\/object\/quadro-K5000-es.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NVIDIA Quadro K5000<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nvidia.es\/object\/product-quadro-6000-es.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">6000<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nvidia.es\/object\/geforce-gtx-680-es.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">GeForce GTX 680<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nvidia.es\/object\/geforce-gtx-690-es.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">690<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nvidia.es\/object\/geforce-gtx-780-es.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">780<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nvidia.es\/object\/geforce-gtx-titan-es.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Titan<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/709mediaroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/twixtor_fcp.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8580\" alt=\"twixtor_fcp\" src=\"http:\/\/709mediaroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/twixtor_fcp.jpg\" width=\"392\" height=\"221\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The required system versions are After Effects CS5 (or higher), Final Cut Pro 7 and X 10.0.8 (or higher) and Premiere Pro CS6 (or higher). The CS5 version of Premiere also supports Twixtor but does not have GPU acceleration. <\/p>\n<p>Officially supported GPUs are 1G memory, although 500m memory GPUs can also work.<\/p>\n<p>The GPU driver must support OpenCL 1.1. While on Mac OS 10.7 this feature is already provided automatically, on Windows you should check with the manufacturers to update these drivers. <\/p>\n<p>Windows 7 and 8 (64-bit) are supported, although Vista can also work in CPU mode. It is recommended that, when working on Mac, version 10.8 be used (although 10.7 is also supported) because the OpenCL drivers are more robust and run up to 30% faster. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/revisionfx.com\/support\/faqs\/generalfaqs\/gpu-info\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Here<\/a> you can see all the detailed information about the GPU.<\/p>\n<p>Twixtor 6 is priced at $329.95 ($595 for the Pro version). The upgrade is free for all users who purchased their license after August 1, 2013. All other upgrades cost $82.49 ($149.95 for the Pro version).
