Zeiss, Digiprime, Masterprime, Ultraprime, Cooke, Anamorphic, etc. Is the only difference between them their brightness, can they all give 4K resolution, and 8K for UHDTV, what are the different &#8220;textures&#8221; of each lens, what is PL, B4 or EF?<\/p>\n<p>In this course of optics for digital cinema we will evaluate the different professional lenses from a technical and artistic point of view. After a theoretical introduction we will see how to test resolution and aberrations in lenses of the three mounts, how to match different lenses or how anamorphic optics affect the different sensors. And we will also see what makes a cinematographer choose one or the other at an artistic level: black reproduction, skin tones, chromatic ranges, etc. In short, a fundamental course for all those who work with film or video lenses in their daily professional life.   <\/p>\n<p><b>TEACHER<\/b>: Rafa Roche.<\/p>\n<p><b>Rafa Roche<\/b>, cinematographer specializing in digital cinema and stereoscopy is one of the leading figures in digital cinema in Spain. His more than 20 years of experience in the industry and the last 10 years working as a director of photography have led him to work in feature films, documentaries, television and advertising and to be one of the gurus of digital photography in Spain.
