This is the <strong>CN-E35mm T1.5 L F<\/strong>, a wide-angle prime lens designed for Super 35 and EF mount cameras. <\/p>\n<p>It is fully compatible with the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canon.es\/For_Home\/Product_Finder\/Cameras\/Digital_SLR\/EOS-1D_C\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EOS-1D C<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canon.es\/For_Home\/Product_Finder\/Digital_Cinema\/Cinema_EOS_Cameras\/EOS_C500_PL\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EOS C500<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canon.es\/For_Home\/Product_Finder\/Digital_Cinema\/Cinema_EOS_Cameras\/EOS_C300\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EOS C300<\/a> digital cinema cameras; the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canon.es\/For_Home\/Product_Finder\/Cameras\/Digital_SLR\/EOS_5D_Mark_III\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EOS 5D Mark III<\/a> or <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canon.es\/For_Home\/Product_Finder\/Cameras\/Digital_SLR\/EOS_1Dx\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">1D X<\/a> DSLRs; and the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.canon.es\/For_Home\/Product_Finder\/Digital_Cinema\/Cinema_EOS_Cameras\/EOS_C100\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EOS C100<\/a> camcorder; as well as all those from other manufacturers that include EF mount.<\/p>\n<p>This is the sixth addition to Canon&#8217;s fixed lens family, which now features the following models:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.canon.es\/For_Home\/Product_Finder\/Digital_Cinema\/Cine_Lenses\/CN_E14mm_T3_1_L_F\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/709mediaroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/cne35mmt15lf_side.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-8367\" alt=\"cne35mmt15lf_side\" src=\"http:\/\/709mediaroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/cne35mmt15lf_side.jpg\" width=\"210\" height=\"189\"><\/a>14mm<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.canon.es\/For_Home\/Product_Finder\/Digital_Cinema\/Cine_Lenses\/CN-E24mm_T1.5_L_F\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>24mm<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.canon.es\/For_Home\/Product_Finder\/Digital_Cinema\/Cine_Lenses\/CN_E35mm_T1.5_L_F\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>35mm<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.canon.es\/For_Home\/Product_Finder\/Digital_Cinema\/Cine_Lenses\/CN-E50mm_T1.3_L_F\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>50mm<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.canon.es\/For_Home\/Product_Finder\/Digital_Cinema\/Cine_Lenses\/CN-E85mm_T1.3_L_F\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>85mm<\/strong><\/a><\/li>\n<li><strong>135mm<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>There are several features common to all of them, such as the use of EF mount, a 114mm diameter for filters and accessories, or the ability to fully cover up to the 4K of a 35mm sensor.<\/p>\n<p>The complete set of lenses comes with electronic contacts in its mount that interact with the corresponding contacts in the cameras. This communication makes it possible to display the lens data in the viewfinder and to record the F-numbers and lens model in the video file as metadata. <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/709mediaroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/ComparaciC3B3n-de-lentes-Canon.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-8368\" alt=\"Canon lens comparison\" src=\"http:\/\/709mediaroom.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/05\/ComparaciC3B3n-de-lentes-Canon.jpg\" width=\"441\" height=\"278\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The new lens weighs 1.1kg, has a splash-resistant construction, a 300\u00b0 rotation angle at the focus ring and features 11 diaphragm blades that allow manipulation of depth of field and bokeh effects.<\/p>\n<p>The new CN-E35mm T1.5 is expected to hit the market in December this year, with an approximate price tag of $5,200. In addition, Canon announced the same day a firmware update for its C500, C300 and C100 cameras, which later this 2013 will add the &#8220;Peripheral Illumination Correction&#8221; function to the rest of the fixed lenses in the series.
