{"id":57205,"date":"2013-05-17T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2013-05-16T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/709mediaroom.com\/new-version-of-color-assist\/"},"modified":"2025-05-05T13:08:14","modified_gmt":"2025-05-05T11:08:14","slug":"new-version-of-color-assist","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/709mediaroom.com\/en\/new-version-of-color-assist\/","title":{"rendered":"New version of Color Assist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As <a href=\"http:\/\/709mediaroom.com\/postproduccion-en-el-nab-2013\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced at NAB<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.technicolor.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Technicolor<\/a> has released version 1.5 of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.technicolorcinestyle.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Color Assist<\/a>, its color correction software.<\/p>\n<p>Among the main improvements we find compatibility with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adobe.com\/es\/products\/aftereffects.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Adobe After Effects<\/a> and support for AVCHD and still images, responding little by little to the growing needs of users.<\/p>\n<p>http:\/\/vimeo.com\/53536398<\/p>\n<h4>Adobe After Effects<\/h4>\n<p>Now After Effects, undoubtedly one of the most important compositing, visual effects and motion graphics systems in the industry, joins its companion <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adobe.com\/es\/products\/premiere.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Premiere Pro<\/a>, which already had Color Assist support.<\/p>\n<p>Post-production technicians will have this option available from version CS5.5 of both systems, thus expanding their workflow possibilities.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.adobe.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Adobe<\/a> systems, Color Assist also supports <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apple.com\/es\/finalcutpro\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Final Cut Pro<\/a> (7 and X), and Technicolor says they are working to support most editing platforms in use today.<\/p>\n<h4>AVCHD<\/h4>\n<p>AVCHD format support is included, allowing you to work with MTS or M2TS files.<\/p>\n<h4>Still image support<\/h4>\n<p>Supported formats are DPX, JPEG, TIFF or PNG, and must not exceed 5000 pixels on any side.<\/p>\n<h4>Workflow improvements<\/h4>\n<p>Color Assist 1.5 also includes workflow improvements that make it easier for new users to learn how to use it.
