The first is to render the files in Cinema 4D and then import them into After Effects, and the second is to use the new 3D render line to render C4D projects as layers within AE. While the latter option might be the most convenient, it can also be quite time consuming when dealing with complex projects. <\/p>\n It is precisely to solve this dilemma that CINEWARE proxy has been created, a combination of both options that gets the best of each by quickly switching between online 3D files and their rendered proxies.<\/p>\n For example, you could start working with the online files while the background proxies are being rendered (background rendering). Once the processing is complete (multi-step rendering is supported), you switch to the proxies and all modifications (effects, masks, etc.) will remain intact. <\/p>\n *For background rendering support the additional tool BG Renderer<\/a> is required.<\/p>\n CINEWARE proxy also allows you to use proxy files that have already been created. It is not necessary to find and select each of them manually, but you mark the first one and all the others are found automatically.
