Although it is not part of Creative Cloud<\/a>, it does need its applications, so it is not possible to work with previous versions such as Premiere Pro CS6. <\/p>\n One of its main goals is to eliminate long waits caused by massive file transfers, media duplication and proxy generation, thus saving time and costs. An “intelligent codec” scales streams to match available bandwidth. According to Adobe, Wi-Fi networks can generally be used to view content on small screens such as tablets or laptops, and even 3G networks allow viewing of certain management issues, such as status information, events and metadata. <\/p>\n It is installed on a cluster of servers and is driven by two main components: Adobe Anywhere Collaboration Hub<\/strong> and Adobe Mercury Streaming Engine<\/strong>. The former contains all project information and metadata, manages user access and allows multiple users to simultaneously access and work with the same project files. On the other hand, Adobe Mercury Streaming Engine is a technology that, used through applications, provides real-time and dynamic visualizations of sequences with GPU-accelerated effects. It is also thanks to this engine that instant access to the media from remote computers is achieved. <\/p>\n
