After the success of the last<\/a> edition of the SGO Mistika basic course, we are opening a new edition.<\/p>\n

Few in the audiovisual industry today are unaware that one of the world’s best post-production software is of Spanish origin. Movies like “The Hobbit”, “Tintin”, “The Amazing Spiderman” or “Prometheus” are just some of the titles in which Mistika, the software of the company SGO<\/a>, has participated. Designed for editing, visual compositing, color grading and stereoscopy, Mistika is one of the most complete and powerful finishing solutions on the market today. <\/p>\n

In this SGO Mistika course the basics of the system will be studied: its file management, interface, project configuration and work philosophy. It will also explain the basic tools of each of the system’s modules and their integration: image editing, visual compositing, color correction and 3D stereoscopy. At the end of the course the student will have a solid base that will allow him to understand and start using the tool in a professional way. <\/p>\n

TEACHER<\/strong>: Ricardo Posada<\/p>\n

Before focusing his career in color correction, Ricardo Posada worked professionally as a 3D animator, digital compositor with Mistika and visual effects supervisor in productions for major advertising brands, making him an unusually complete professional with a wide scope in the post-production field and with an accumulated experience of 15 years of work. He is a senior operator of the SGO Mistika system, and for the last ten years, director of the audiovisual services company Quimera. <\/p>\n

DURATION<\/strong>: 20 hours<\/p>\n

PRICE<\/strong>: 580\u20ac (500\u20ac booking before October 4th). You can get up to 20% discount<\/a> if you sign up for several courses. Discounts are not cumulative. <\/p>\n

EQUIPMENT USED<\/strong>: SGO Mistika 7 on HP Professional Stations (one per student)<\/p>\n

DEGREE:<\/b> At the end of the course the student will receive the official SGO “Mistika User” certificate and a temporary license (up to one year) of Mistika Insight (runs on Windows 7 32b). Both the qualification and the license are granted by SGO, being at the discretion of SGO and the teacher if the student has finished the course with the necessary level (a final test will be done). <\/p>\n

AIMED AT<\/strong>: Editors, post-producers, colorists, visual compositors, post-production directors, stereographers, etc.<\/p>\n

PREVIOUS KNOWLEDGE<\/b>: Experience in any of the disciplines in which the Mistika tool is used: editing, visual effects creation, color correction or 3D stereoscopy.<\/p>\n
