Once again Noise Industries<\/a> brings us innovative and very easy to apply effects. This is Vintage, a plugin from Sheffield Softworks<\/a> that we can use in Final Cut Pro, Motion and After Effects (as always through FxFactory<\/a>). <\/p>\n Vintage allows you to apply a “vintage” film look (as the name suggests) by mathematically recreating the physical and technical conditions that were used to capture the color in the original process.<\/p>\n Three techniques are used to achieve this:<\/p>\n – Technicolor 2 Strip<\/strong>: affects the red and green channels. In these three techniques that can be applied we have a normal mode and a quick mode. The advantage of the “quick” mode is that the effect is processed much faster, but we cannot customize the modifiable parameters (intensity of red, green or blue, brightness, saturation, etc.). <\/p>\n Sheffield Softwork Vintage Effects is compatible with: Final Cut Pro (6, 7 and X); Motion (3, 4 and 5); and After Effects (CS3, 4, 5 and 5.5).<\/p>\n Here is a brief tutorial on how it would be applied in Final Cut Pro X.<\/p>\n
