RevUp Render is the new platform for cloud rendering, which includes support for Chaos Group’<\/a>s V-Ray 2.0<\/a> software.<\/p>\n

It was originally intended for architects, engineers and designers, but the fact that it includes support for this software makes it more than useful for 3D and VFX designers as well. Design and entertainment studios will be able to increase productivity and reduce costs by freeing themselves from IT resources and constraints. Customers “rent” render nodes for as long as they need to complete processing. <\/p>\n

Any studio using 3D systems with distributed rendering (DR) capabilities, including Autodesk Maya<\/a>, Autodesk 3ds Max<\/a>, McNeel Rhino3D<\/a>, Trimble SketchUp<\/a> and more, can now work completely in the cloud, saving time and avoiding many problems.<\/p>\n

In addition, RevUp COSMOS<\/a>“workstations”, also cloud-based, can be used. It’s like having a computer but without physically owning one. It offers a complete workflow for real-time V-Ray rendering and is the most advanced “Paas” (Platform as a Service) of the moment. <\/p>\n

Its general technical specifications are as follows:<\/p>\n

– Intel Quad-core and six-core processors.
\n– More than 24 GB of RAM.
\n– NVIDIA Quadro and Tesla GPU series.
\n– Depending on the case, a Linux or Windows 7 (64bit) operating system will be used.<\/p>\n

RevUp Render can also convert Autodesk Revit<\/a> files for rendering on the new V-Ray platform. In this case, customers will pay a fee for the conversion of each file and a small viewing fee. This service is not self-managed, but the tasks are performed by experienced professionals who will deliver much faster. <\/p>\n

A feature has also been included to be able to access RevUp Render from mobile devices. Those that can be used are iPad, iPhone, Android and Chromebook. <\/p>\n
