I must confess my disappointment when I saw that the fair was mainly about the exhibition and sale of photographs themselves, not photographic equipment (logical on the other hand, since in that sense there is already &#8220;FotoVentas&#8221;). <\/p>\n<p>However, I was pleasantly surprised when I discovered a small booth with the name <a title=\"B&amp;H\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bhphotovideo.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">B&amp;H<\/a> on it. Surely many of you know the famous professional photo and video store located in New York. I&#8217;ve only had the actual experience of shopping there once: a <a title=\"Graid Disc\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bhphotovideo.com\/c\/product\/650737-REG\/G_Technology_GR4_1000_1TB_G_RAID_External_Hard.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Graid<\/a> hard drive when I was studying in <a title=\"Maine Media Workshops\" href=\"http:\/\/www.mainemedia.edu\/workshops\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maine<\/a>, and I have to say that it was pretty cheap and with good service.  <\/p>\n<p>B&amp;H has an international reputation but what about all the customs issues that come into play every time we buy something outside the European Union? I went to ask them and they immediately replied (I&#8217;m sure I wasn&#8217;t the first one to ask) that they offer a duty calculation service, so when you look at the price of a product you can see EXACTLY how much it&#8217;s going to cost when it arrives at your home. No hidden costs, no customs letters, no delays (three days at the door).  <\/p>\n<p>Sounds good, huh? Well, the truth is that unfortunately today I have done a price test. I looked at a Sigma 24-70 2.8 lens for Canon in <a title=\"Sigma Pixmania\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pixmania.com\/es\/es\/2549445\/art\/sigma\/objetivo-24-70-mm-f-2-8-e.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pixmania<\/a>, <a title=\"Sigma Amazon\" href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.co.uk\/Sigma-24-70mm-Canon-Digital-Cameras\/dp\/B001NEK2Q4\/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&amp;ie=UTF8&amp;qid=1304933480&amp;sr=1-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Amazon UK<\/a> (which serves free to Spain) and <a title=\"Sigma B&amp;H\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bhphotovideo.com\/c\/product\/596257-REG\/Sigma_571101_24_70mm_f_2_8_IF_EX.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">B&amp;H<\/a> with the shipping calculator to Spain. Amazon wins (as so many other times) but you know that maybe in something else Amazon can be more expensive.   <\/p>\n<p>In any case B&amp;H goes to my favorites in the &#8220;Shopping&#8221; folder.
