Last summer we had the satisfaction of organizing a course for teachers of vocational training institutes in Castilla y León. The Junta de Castilla y León selected us after a public tender to carry out a course on photography direction and color correction, which was subsidized by the European Social Fund.
The 35-hour curriculum was divided into five modules, teaching HDSLR, XDCAM HD, Red Scarlet X, lighting and color correction. Students had access to the above cameras and equipment for theoretical and practical knowledge and to one Apple station per person during the color correction module. Red and XDCAM camera equipment was supplied by Ovide and Sony Spain, respectively.
Luis Ochoa taught the post-production and color correction contents and coordinated the course together with Fran Ventura, teacher of the HDSLR and lighting module. Pablo Balsa was in charge of the XDCAM HD course and Rafa Roche demonstrated his knowledge with the Scarlet X Network.

Those attending the course, teachers who give classes in the different training cycles in the area of image and sound, were fully satisfied with the contents taught and the material used. All the teachers of the course also agreed on the good atmosphere and level that was given during the classes.

With this course 709 Media Room begins to extend its audiovisual training for professionals beyond Madrid, where it normally teaches its courses. We are confident that little by little we will be able to carry out our training in more and more communities and countries.
Currently in 709 Media Room we have scheduled a course of similar characteristics for the month of December. In our DIT course we will cover most of these topics and many others as it is a longer course.
From 709 Media Room we would like to thank all the attendees of the Valladolid course for their great reception and for having made this another great course.
