Preparing the AEC MicroSalon 2019

From Backlit Room we are already finalizing all the details of the MicroSalon AEC 2019. First of all, if you have not yet registered you can do it through this link. Although tickets are free there is limited capacity. In our blog you can get more information about one of the most powerful meetings that there is right now in Spain and organized by the Spanish Association of Directors and Directors of Photography on 29 and 30 November.

This year, as a protective member of the ACS, we will be present at the meeting. At our booth you will find material shot and graded in HDR. For many HDR is a complete unknown or a fascinating world for those who begin to know it, so we have prepared a talk to highlight some aspects of the HDR workflow . The talk will take place on Friday November 29th from 12:30h to 13:00h and will be given by colorist Luis Ochoa and cinematographer Juan Luis Cabellos AEC.

During this workshop we will discuss the artistic influence of not only lenses but other aspects such as filters, makeup, lighting in HDR shooting. The workflow is starting to change when considering an HDR project and we will analyze how the shooting decisions affect the post-production of the images. Through real examples with different lenses we will see how they influence SDR and HDR post production. Prior to our talk, Canon will give another talk related to the influence of lenses in HDR from a more technical aspect . Canon’s talk, given by Carlos Castán, will be just before, from 12:00 to 12:30h also in the ECAM auditorium.
