Red Giant launches its visual effects suite

The Red Giant company has announced its new visual effects package with some really powerful and long-awaited tools for users.

Let’s start with Supercomp, a tool that makes compositing and integrating realistic integrations intuitively and easily in After Effects. It’s simpler because the rendering engines it employs understand how layers should interact with each other to give better results. The realistic effect is due to the 15 GPU-accelerated tools that have been added.

Another tool for creating realistic environments is Knoll, a fully customizable set of lenses and flashes to form realistic and natural environments. It has up to 200 customizable parameters to animate lights and flashes to fit the needs of each scene.

We continue with the composition, and we could not miss the King Pin Tracker. This tool identifies the plane on which we are going to compose the new image. Title inlays on moving shots, compositions with camera movement… the planar tracker has evolved with new start, end and transformation pins to obtain perfectly integrated results.

Another tracking tool is the Spot Clone Tracker, what so far in Photoshop has been the cloning tool, Red Giant has taken it to the moving image to detect any small spot, track it thanks to its built-in tracking motorcycles and make deletions in moving images.

Among the 9 tools in this suite, we will also find improved glows, chroma shifts and chromas that are faster and easier to clean.

This new version of effects will be backwards compatible with the previous version and you can purchase the tools separately or buy the complete suite for $999 on Red Giant‘s website.
