Features of SmallHD 703 Bolt Wireless Director’s Monitor
The monitor has Teradek’s Sidekick II Bolt receiver integrated with SmallHD’s 703 monitor for a lightweight, cable-free monitoring kit for complete mobility around the recording set. On the other hand, it is compatible with any of the 3rd generation Bolt systems: Bolt 500, 1000 and 3000. The integrated receiver includes a 5GHz spectrum analyzer along with time code and metadata support.
In addition, the monitor is capable of monitoring A/B cameras or pre- and post-LUT footage. The dual view allows you to view two input sources simultaneously and each is equipped with its own software tools. It has two SDI BNC connectors: 1Input and a choice of either Input or Output.
Finally, we find that it is made of milled aluminum, achieving a robust result. The monitor reaches a weight of 2Kg – including the 90 watt-hour battery and handles. Powered by a single Anton Bauer or V-mount battery pack, the system can view and receive signals for more than four hours on a single 90 watt-hour battery. It contains Pagebuilder OS, HD waveform and scopes, acolorflow 3D LUT motor as well as two 12v power locking barrel connectors.
The product has been put on sale with a value of about 4000 dollars in its simplest format and for 4200 dollars for the director’s Bundle version. Right now the price is somewhat lower, as it is in launch promotion. You can find more information about the product in the official pages linked at the beginning of the post.
