Exr-IO, the bridge between Photoshop and 3D systems

The company 3d-io announced a few days ago Exr-IO, a completely free solution that allows reading and writing OpenEXR files, serving as a bridge between different 3D applications and Adobe Photoshop.

Exr-IO allows the exchange of OpenEXR multilayer images by loading all image channels from OpenEXR files and separating them into Photoshop layers, maintaining the exact values, transparencies and dimensions during the process.

In addition to the above, these are its main characteristics:

  • Support for options such as opacity and blending.
  • Accuracy in color formats and chromaticity.
  • Support for OpenEXR display window specification.
  • Multiple loading and saving options.
  • Support for 32 and 64 bit Photoshop versions (Windows).

Exr-IO is now available and can be downloaded completely free of charge via this link.
