Today and tomorrow, October 18 and 19, the NAB Show is being held in New York, and of course, companies have not been slow to talk about the products they are going to present.
Today we talk about Sony, who has already talked about its new camera and its corresponding camera control system (CCU) with HD to UHD system. Which will be exhibited throughout these days at the show we talked about before. These are the new Sony HXCU FB80 CCU and the Sony HXC-FB80 camera.
According to the company, this is an ideal system for those users who are thinking of gradually moving from HD to UHD and HD-HDR.
Sony has thus combined the HXC-FB80 portable camera with the HXCU-FB80 CCU, which transforms the camera’s output into UHD.
In addition, the CCU will include free firmware as a complement to the HLG HD-HDR content. Firmware that will be available starting next summer 2018.
The camera features an Exmor CMOS sensor with a maximum capture resolution of 1920×1080 at a maximum of 59.94 Hz.
This set will be available for sale to users starting next January.
