A new technology arrives on the market in HDMI. HDMI Forum presents this new version 2.1 will exceed the capacity of Thunderbolt 3 with 48 Gbps transfer. In this way it will be able to transfer up to 10K quality (oriented to commercial, special uses). It achieves 60Hz refresh for 8K and 120Hz for 4K. These improvements in the refresh rate ensure greater uniformity and fluidity of movement To achieve compatibility with all current standards, has a very low EMI emission and can be used in turn with existing HDMI devices. It is also capable of supporting HDR, supporting HDR video in 8K without compression.
Includes:
- Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) which reduces the delay or tearing of a frame to allow a smoother flow with greater detail.
- Quick Media Switching (QMS) reduces the wait that can result in blank screens before content is displayed.
- Quick Fram Transport (QFT) Enables seamless gameplay and real-time interactive virtual reality.
- Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) allows you to set the ideal latency settings for smooth viewing and interactivity without lag or interruption.
