This week The Foundry in addition to updating the beta for Nuke 10 also announced MODO Series 10, its system for 3D content creation.
The company plans to release three updates with new features in a series that will have a single price. The first of these will be MODO 10.0v1, which will be available starting in the second quarter and will be followed by MODO 10.1 and 10.2.
At the moment not too many details have been revealed about the new features, but we can tell you that they will focus on the functionality of the software. It seems that there will be a new texture workflow, to be able to add detail to objects in real time, and new ways to export, with simple and automated steps.
The Foundry claims that MODO 10 is built on a next-generation platform for 3D modeling, texturing and rendering, which will enhance real-time content creation and virtual reality.
