Download a clip from ARRI Amira

Today we are launching a new section, the 709 Downloads. Each week we will be uploading content captured with different cameras currently used in film and video so you can make your own tests.

To start with we leave you with a clip of ARRI Amira, the latest camera developed by the German company that is becoming more and more popular. Initially, Amira was designed for the documentary field, with a lot of features that facilitated handheld camera work. However, in August a software update was announced that would allow recording of Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) ProRes files, opening it up to other types of production.

Amira features the same 35mm sensor as Alexa, a dynamic range of 14 stops and the ability to record ProRes files at up to 200fps on CFast 2.0 cards.

In this post you can read more about the functions of the camera, or if you prefer you can also visit its official website. Note that there are three different models for the recording needs of each project.
