Panasonic has also published this help document for those who need information on the workflows of the new generation of VariCams. One issue to note is that the company uses the terms “Main” and “Sub” to describe the ability to record a second file for dailies and editing (via the “sub” recorder) while recording the master file simultaneously (via the “main” recorder).
Finally Panasonic has recommended three tools for downloading and viewing 4K material, namely Scratch Play, Panasonic P2 Viewer Plus and DaVinci Resolve Lite.
