Recently we offered you a LUT called“B&W Contrast“, aimed at black and white scenes with a high level of contrast. In this case we bring you the “B&W Low Contrast” LUT, which also works in black and white but has a low contrast and a slight deviation to magentas.
It has been created on Rec. 709 material, but you can apply it on logarithmic clips if you first add a layer by slightly adjusting the black and white point.
As always, to download it you will have to visit the “LUTs Exchange” group in Red 709. (From here you can access it directly). We also encourage you to share your own looks so we can learn from each other.
