Pomfort, developer of on-set color and data management systems, has updated its Silverstack SET software to support the Canon EOS C300 camera.
Silverstack SET is a system designed specifically for DITs and Data Wranglers who need to optimize and secure their activities as soon as files leave the camera. Therefore, this software has a set of features for data management, backup and verified copies to multiple destinations, tools for color correction and quality control, and professional playback controls.
It contains a library that organizes clips according to metadata, making it much easier to identify them in post-download searches. It also allows you to prepare these clips for post-production environments in a very simple way.
By adding support for the Canon EOS C300, the range of formats supported by current cameras such as RED, ARRI, GoPro, Canon DSLR or Nikon DSLR, as well as recorders from AJA and Atomos(a complete list of supported cameras and recorders can befound here ).
In addition, this update allows files recorded with Canon’s Clog gamma curve to be displayed in the Rec709 color space without transcoding (a viewing LUT is applied).
Silverstack SET only works on Mac OS X (10.6 or higher).
If you already have your Silverstack SET you can get this update for free from any authorized Pomfort dealer or from their online store. From this link you can purchase it (for $599), rent it or download the 14-day trial version.
