Today we would like to introduce you to ADATA‘s solid state disk drive, the SE800. Often we industry professionals need to work with heavy files, large amounts of data and move between different sites, and this is where SSDs can be a great companion. ADATA unveiled its new SE800 SSD capable of new transfer speeds despite not having NVMe technology.
ADATA SE800, unlike other SSDs in the same category, is capable of reaching 1000 MB per second in both read and write speeds. This is 12.5 times faster data transfer speeds than any external hard drive can achieve. In fact, ADATA has managed to beat its own transfer speed records by sweeping those achieved by its previous model, the SE730H. ADATA is aware of the presence of hard disks in everyday life and has therefore opted to offer solutions to users that make life easier by reducing cumbersome waiting times.
ADATA’s new SSD has a reversible USB Type-C connection and at the moment has launched two models with 1 TB capacity or 512 Gigabytes, both available in blue and black. They weigh only 40 grams, which is perfect for easy carrying and although it is not intended for transferring large weights, it is designed for immediacy. It could be a very good option to copy a heavy render and do it in less than a minute, as shown in some of their studio tests. If the device to which we connect it has an On-The-Go option, the transmission of files between devices is even easier between Windows, Android and Mac OS.
In addition to speed, ADATA is committed to safety, which is essential in this type of device. SE800 is small but safe, as it is water and dust resistant, and can be submerged up to one and a half meters in water for 30 minutes.
They are already available in Spain and the price of the 1 TB SSD is 206.80 euros and 156.80 euros for the 512 Gb SSD.
