We are opening a new call for our advanced DaVinci Resolve course in response to the demand that many of you have made about a course on the use of the tool from the point of view of the professional colorist. We have also increased the duration listening to the requests of the students to be able to do more practice in the creation of looks and other technical content.
Davinci Resolve is the most consolidated and popular color correction program since the beginning of this technique and at all levels: advertising, 2d/3d cinema, series, guerrilla filmmaking… A colorist in today’s market cannot ignore this tool if he wants to work in the industry (but if you are reading this you are probably already aware of it…) Our intention with this course is not to teach you the basic handling of DaVinci Resolve, we are not going to walk you through the interface or explain one by one all the options, or how to load a project, or “what does what”, in this course we want you to really handle it. And we want to make you sweat!
The course will start with several long and eminently practical exercises to force the student to present a practical result of continuity and then focus on the part we really like… Let’s style the image! In each exercise we will see an example of “creative” color correction, that is: popular looks in the industry and quasi-chemical treatments to take the image beyond what can strictly be done with curves and the 3 color spheres.
