AJA System Test Lite

AJA Video Systems released a few days ago an application called AJA System Test Lite, which would be a version of their speed test software aimed at Mac OS X users.

It is used for system and storage performance measurement and reporting. It is designed with post-production and digital workflow needs in mind, so it emulates reading and writing video files from a hard disk, SSD, RAID or NAS. Results can be calculated either by transfer rate or by frame rate, even displaying corresponding graphs.

The resolution, color space, bit depth, compression type and container file can be specified to make the emulation as specific as possible.
