ALEXA LF 4.0 Arri Software Update

The ALEXA LF Software Update Package (SUP) 4.0 provides important new features, compatibility with ARRI LBUS accessories and important bug fixes.

ALEXA LF 4.0

New anamorphic decompression factors.
1.65x for Panavision Ultra Vista Anamorphic lenses.
1.80x for Cooke Anamorphic / i Full Frame Plus lenses.
LBUS support.
The LCS to LBUS cable (K2.0007318) allows the use of ARRI LBUS accessories.
Including cforce mini motors, OCU-1 operator control unit with override, Master Grips, LCUBE and others.
EXT Sync: synchronization of sensors and synchronization of settings.
Separate MAGNIFY values for each sensor mode.
The project frame rate changes the sensor and SDI frame rates.
Improved dynamic pixel correction.

However, please note that the ALEXA LF 3.0 software and hardware upgrade is a prerequisite for upgrading ALEXA LF cameras to LF SUP 4.0. If you still have an ALEXA LF with LF SUP 2.0, you should contact ARRI service to schedule the ALEXA LF 3.0 software and hardware upgrade. More precise information about this can be found on the official Arri website.

If on the other hand you already had LF SUP 3.0, simply download LF SUP 4.0 and install it on your ALEXA LF.
