Andycine C6 6-inch 2600 nits Monitor

Today we bring you a new field monitor for those with tighter budgets, it’s the Andycine C6 6-inch monitor. It’s an uncommon size compared to the standard 5 and 7 inches but offers solutions for shooting in broad daylight.

It’s a monitor with a touchscreen and an IPS LCD panel with a maximum brightness of 2600 cd/m2 according to the manufacturers. It has a 6-inch size with 1920×1080 pixels. The contrast ratio is 1200:1 and it offers sharp, bright images with saturated colors. Contrast, saturation, and even sharpness levels can be adjusted on this monitor. It also features an automatic sensor to regulate screen brightness based on ambient light.

It allows loading 3D LUTs via an SD card, up to 50 different LUTs. It’s compatible with Rec709 and accepts HDR, HLG 2020, and S-Log2, S-Log3, C-Log. To control the input signal, it has numerous tools and options such as waveform, parade, vectorscope, histogram, peaking, false color, etc… They come factory calibrated to “reproduce colors true to reality”.

It features HDMI ports for both input and output to reproduce multiple signals without compromising the original video quality. The HDMI inputs allow for 4K 3840×2160 images at 24, 25, 29.97, 30 fps and up to DCI 4K 4096X2160.

It allows direct touch control from the screen or through physical control buttons located on the top. The design is similar to other models from the brand and is made of plastic with mounting points on the bottom and side of 1/4 20″. This allows for anchoring extendable arms or accessories for shooting with considerable stability.

To power the monitor, Andycine has opted for Sony NP battery slots and also has 12-volt DC IN and 8.4V DC OUT ports.
