AOC U2790PQU, the new 4K UHD monitor for video editors

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The monitor brand AOC has added a new model to its 90 monitor series aimed at professional video editors, the U2790PQU. As a main feature, it supports 10-bit color depth.

It is a 27-inch monitor with IPS panel and Ultra HD resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. It has four times the pixel density of the current standard full HD monitor on the market. As we have already mentioned, it has IPS panels for a better visualization of images and a wider viewing angle. At the same time, the screen support is adjustable to suit each user, including the ability to swivel for vertical viewing.

As it is a monitor focused on content creators and industry professionals, it has the AOC Low Blue. The AOC Low Blue reduces the emission of short wavelength blue light so as not to damage the eye so much but without affecting the quality of images and colors. For those who will use this monitor as a work monitor, it has several modes, including reading and web browsing among others. Flicker Free technology is a further aid to the user. With this backlighting system, it avoids annoying flickering to prevent eyestrain.

According to the manufacturers, the AOC U2790PQU monitor is capable of reproducing standard images as high definition thanks to its Clear Vision technology, accessible through the OSD menu. In this way, there is no need to access the monitor’s buttons; these settings can be changed via the mouse with the i-Menu.

As for the monitor’s connections, it has USB 3.0, HDMI and Display Port connections. Users will be able to connect virtually all types of devices such as computers, blu-ray and carry audio and data through the Display Port.

We will have to see the quality-price ratio, but at the start it is a much cheaper model, $299.
