The Silicon M1 chip brings together several technologies that make it so powerful. It has a construction based on 5-nanometer technology, a unified memory architecture to improve its performance, and 16 billion transistors in a very small size with high efficiency. The M1’s core architecture is structured into four high-efficiency and four high-performance cores, a total of eight cores capable of performing 25,000 tasks at a time, and heavy and demanding tasks such as 4K playback of multiple videos simultaneously, or graphics and 3D processing.
