ARRI and Dolby Vision to hold free workshops at the San Sebastian Festival

On September 20, the San Sebastian Festival begins and both ARRI and Dolby Vision have prepared some free workshops for attendees.

If you want to try ARRI’s products first hand, make a reservation on Thursday , September 26. With a luxury guest as the filmmaker Isaac Vila, you can learn about the experience of large format ARRI cameras. The cameras to be seen and tested at this workshop are the ARRI ALEXA LF, the ALEXA Mini LF, and as a bonus, ARRI will also be offering its Signature Prime lenses.

At the Tabakalera Contemporary Culture Center, room Z in the Andre Zigarrogileak square in Donostia.

When?

September 26th from 16:00h to 19:00h.

How to register?

Tickets are free, just register at tradeshows_events@arri.de, although if you do not register in advance and there are still places available, tickets will be given on a first-come, first-served basis.

Dolby Vision for its part has also prepared some workshops with its world tour of content creation Dolby Vision to raise awareness and extend knowledge of HDR to those who are interested in the subject. It is designed for attendees of all levels of knowledge about HDR, whether beginners or experts on the subject, Dolby Vision wants to present the news of the new tools for content creation, the latest developments in the creation processes and workflows from capture to the correct display.

Practical examples will show the importance of using high dynamic range images in the creative process. A demonstration will be made with Dolby Vision 4.0, a tool implemented in color correction systems, to see the differences between images color corrected in SDR Rec 709 in a traditional way and images color corrected with the Dolby Vision 4.0 system also in SDR Rec 709.

When?

On September 27th. The sessions will have a duration of one hour and the first session will take place at 9:00h and the last session will be at 19:00h.
