ARRI introduces new camera accessories

The German film equipment supplier ARRI, in addition to taking advantage of IBC to celebrate its 100th anniversary, has also used the festival to present its new accessories for film cameras.

SRH-3

On the one hand, we find the SRH-3a three-axis stabilization head remotely controllable by means of a joystick based on the ARRI SRH-3 Cotnrol Board system, with optical wheels.

In the company’s own words, “this head brings the camera anywhere a person can’t go (…)”

One of its main features is that the SRH-3 has an extra motor to counteract external centrifugal forces.

On the other hand, one of the things that ARRI has highlighted, in addition to its light weight of 9kg, is precisely that this does not match the load it can lift, up to 33kg, thus being able to triple its own weight.

It is compatible not only with other ARRI products and workflows, but also with a wide range of products from other companies.

In addition, ARRI has taken into account that you can not skimp when purchasing a system like this stabilization system, which is why it has taken into consideration the needs of even smaller budgets, adapting it, but maintaining its good performance.

Rota Pola Frame

The Rota Pola frame holder, compatible with the LMB-5, LMB-15, LMB-25, LMB 4×5 and MB-19 matte filter packs.

It is characterized by having the same width as a regular F4 filter, and has an internal circular polarizing glass.

ARRI Full Spectrum ND External ND Filter

On the other hand, the company has also introduced an External Full Spectrum ND Filter, which not only serves as protection, but also affects image quality.

In recent times, the demand for certain standards in terms of image quality has been gradually increasing, and it is this demand that has led the company to develop its own external FSND filter that does not diminish or distort the quality.
