16-Cine---copia-blog3

We announce the call for a new course in 709 Media Room: Art Direction for Cinematographers.

Establishing a good and precise communication between the photography and art departments facilitates the final success of an audiovisual work. How to improve this flow of information? How to unify the criteria of the departments to establish an optimal collaboration? What are the resources of the production design? How exactly is an art direction project elaborated?

This course will analyze the processes that have a primary relationship with the cinematographer, the plastic and visual criteria of the films from the point of view of the art director in collaboration with the DOP, the procedure to follow to elaborate an art direction project… In short, to define the grammar that articulates the art direction in order to allow cinematographers to relate this area to their light and to be able to communicate better with this department.

DURATION: 16 hours

Félix Murcia has dedicated 49 years of his life to the continuous exercise in the field of Visual, Audiovisual and Cinematographic Arts.
