Assimilate Scratch for Mac (with tutorials)

Another novelty announced this past Nab, this time by the company Assimilate, was the incursion into the Scratch family of color correctors with versions for Mac OS.

According to this press release, the company is releasing for Apple both the Scratch 6 version of the color corrector (valid for both 2D and 3D stereoscopic projects) and the new Scratch Lab, designed to make basic corrections and generate dailies on set or in the living room. In the Mac versions it will be possible to encode in the famous (and well publicized) ProRes codecs.

To the best of my humble knowledge Scratch is not a particularly widespread system in Spain (not so in other countries like USA or England). But the truth is that making it multiplatform greatly enhances the possibilities of the product.
